FUTURASKOLAN'S PRE-SCHOOL

Futuraskolan is an organization with a focus on the development and education of children. We consist of five pre-schools, and two schools grades 0-9. Our five pre-schools are located on the island of Lidingö, in Sollentuna, Täby, and Stockholm.

Futuraskolan's pre-schools offer a safe and imaginative learning-environment for children between the ages of 1 and 6. 

We emphasize the importance of learning through play in early childhood and strive to have the materials and tools at hand to experiment, create, invent, and construct. A lot of time is spent outdoors playing in and learning about nature. We work with music and art as well as introduce natural science and the English language at an early age.

Going to pre-school demands a lot of energy. At Futuraskolan Mats Bergwall and his company "Svarta Lådan" offer a food solution based on teaching kids how to eat right. Our children are served well-balanced meals which include wholegrain and fibre-rich ingredients. All food is prepared from scratch without unnecessary sugars and fats helping the blood sugar levels stay even throughout the entire day. Tasty alternatives for vegetarians and children with food allergies are also offered.

In our pre-schools each department collaborates with the child’s guardian(s) to develop an “Individual Child Development Plan” which supports and aids in each child’s personal and developmental growth as well as their individual needs.

FUTURASKOLAN'S GOALS

Futuraskolan’s pre-school goals are to first and foremost:

• Create a calm, safe, and structured atmosphere, generating a fulfilling and encouraging working environment.
• Create an early interest and aid our children in learning the basics of natural science and technology.
• Create an international perspective and mindset in our children.
• Create a forum where children are able to develop excellent language skills in both Swedish and English.
• Create a setting where our children, staff, and parents feel happy and comfortable, allowing each individual to demonstrate a sense of responsibility and respect for themselves and others.
• Offer an individually designed educational experience, stimulating and encouraging each child to do their absolute best while supporting their personal needs.
• Proactively counteract any acts of violation involving students, parents or staff members through preventative measures.

FUTURASKOLAN'S PRE-SCHOOL QUALITY CONTROL

Quality is monitored:

• Through close communication and contact with each child’s guardians.
• Through individual child development plans which are continuously followed up.
• Through individual child development meetings where visible and clear goals are set and feedback is provided.
• Through questionnaires handed out by both the municipality and the school to staff, children, and guardians.
• Through our annual quality control report
