Going to school is hard work and demands a lot of energy. At Futuraskolan we want our food tasty, well-prepared and nutritious!
"The right amount of food at the right time" is the motto of our catering company Svarta Lådan. At Futuraskolan we back that up 100 %. Eating healthy is something we all should do and that is a goal we are aiming for daily.
Mats Bergwall, founder of Svarta Lådan says: "in order for the children to be able to concentrate throughout an entire day of school activities, it is important that they eat the right kind of food and the right amount of food during the day". At Futuraskolan Mats Bergwall and Svarta Lådan offer a food solution teaching kids how to eat right.
The food is prepared right in our Elementary School's kitchen completely from scratch. The menu has a different theme weekly such as France, Sweden, Asia, Mediterranean etc. All of our children are served well-balanced meals which include wholegrain and fibre-rich ingredients. The food is prepared without unnecessary sugars and fats helping the blood sugar levels stay even throughout the entire day. Tasty alternatives for vegetarians and children with food allergies are also offered.
